DAMYNS HALL AERODROME is a very friendly place to visit and is home to Microlight schools, Helicopter schools and aerobatic training. The Aerodrome has 2 runways so can accommodate all types of fixed and rotary winged aircraft. The aerodrome has an ATZ with air ground radio however this is not always manned so blind calls are sometimes neccercery. Overhead joins are recommended so that you can observe the wind socks to determine the runway to use. Be aware that DAMYNS HALL AERODROME is close to LONDON CITY AIRPORT so you are unable to approach from the west. There is a 2500 ft. limit as the LONDON TMA is overhead. Please check your charts for airspace before you arrive.
After landing taxi to the area next to the hangars and park outside the club hut. Landing fees are paid in the club hut and hot and cold food is available every day. DAMYNS HALL is a wonderful place to visit and is less than 3 miles from the main line train and tube stations that can take you directly into the center of London. Enjoy your visit to one of the best sports aerodromes in the south of England.
